SIMUMAT courses and
conferences in “Control, Optimization and Simulation in Engineering’’
CIEM, Castro Urdiales, Cantabría, Spain,
July 14-18, 2008.

These
courses and conferences intend to present to students and young
researchers some problems of great complexity coming from different areas
of Science and Technology, from the point of view of its modelling, its
mathematical theoretical analysis and its numerical simulation. For the
treatment of the problems knowledge of several fields of specialization
are needed: numerical analysis, discrete mathematics, differential
equations, partial differential equations….

In
this activity, we get:

- Courses introducing basic
aspects of optimization, control and simulation in fluids and
aerodynamics.
- Laboratory where
implement mathematical techniques to the simulation.
- Talks with new advances
in mathematical and simulation aspects.
- Posters session to
students and young researches.
